Welcome to the web site of the Illawarra Rugby League Referees, one of the oldest Rugby League Referees' Associations in the world currently in its 89th year of operation. The Association comprises a membership of approximately one hundred referees who provide refereeing services to the Illawarra Division Rugby League senior and junior competitions. The Illawarra district is on the south-eastern seaboard of Australia approximately 50 miles south of Sydney. It is the home of the famous St.George-Illawarra Dragons and also of the former Illawarra Steelers.
